Sean Cooper founded SC Performance with one mission: to help Rugby 7s athletes dominate on the field. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a B.S. in Human Biology from the University of Southern California, Sean combines science-backed training with a deep understanding of what it takes to excel in Rugby 7s.
With extensive experience coaching athletes across the NFL, collegiate rugby, soccer, and basketball, Sean knows what it takes to reach the next level. But his true edge comes from his firsthand experience as a Rugby player, competing with top teams like Belmont Shore, Olympic Club, and the Houston Sabercats Academy. He understands the unique physical and mental demands of the sport because he’s been there himself.
